The process to cancel or update billing seems to be intentionally convoluted and aimed at keeping people so frustrated they just end up paying the annual fee rather than sit on hold for hours to get their issue resolved properly. The verification codes initiated come through maybe 15% of the time. I will never use this service provider again when there are so many options out there.

Overall, pretty dissatisfied. Namecheap first demanded that they can’t change the plan to premium to basic. When you are a new customer no issues to update the plan from basic to premium. I’m sure if you are getting more money, no issues. But I has argue why they can’t go down to basic because the cost are really high. I got it at the end after 2 hours.

I bought the wrong domain and email. Namecheap help via call was super easy and fast. The support was easy to understand. Took about 10 mins. I thought it was going to be a pain in the a**, Alas, it was easy!

He stayed on the phone with me until we set up my new email, and more. Never hung up and even stayed late in his Dept, just to make sure I clearly understood.
