Big Rock is a shitty company that made me money from the trust in my users and my data, I receive suspensions at any time, sometimes without reason and when I try to find out why, they give me shitty reasons and do everything so that I am no longer able to access my data. Big Rock integrates unit updates one after the other which wastes time and money, I ended up buying a domain and the same day I could not verify the domain because Big Rock now requires verification by phone number and my phone number is not supported by their message sending service and instead of helping me Big Rock asked that I could provide registration documents for my business which I found totally unreasonable and insane because I have not even started using the domain yet, I strongly advise against using Big Rock or trusting them based on my experience.

I had a fantastic experience with Big Rock’s support. Carla was super friendly and quick to respond, explaining everything clearly. Although I couldn’t split the server bill directly, she offered great alternatives like PayPal and account sharing. Overall, I’m really impressed by how helpful and efficient Big Rock’s team is!

After a bit of tedium with their AI chatbot (better than most I've had!), I got connected to Carla, and she sorted out the problem quickly without me having to repeat anything. Speaking as a 30-year IT veteran with broad customer support experience, I can't say I could have done any better myself. This is a dramatic improvement over the chat support I've received in the past, both from Big Rock and other services I've used.

Big Rock flooded the internet with advertisements about their services and prices. My hosting with HostGator was due for renewal, and the price had increased. I was looking for a lower annual price, and Big Rock offered $199 for 48 months plus 3 free months, along with a promise to handle the migration. Since I couldn't transfer it myself, I thought it was a good idea. After confirming with their chat support that I wouldn't have to do anything, I paid for the 48-month premium plan.They started the migration, but a few minutes later, I received an email instructing me to change the nameservers on my domain. I thought, "What happened to 'they will do everything'?" The next day, I logged into GoDaddy to change the nameservers, which would take about 48 hours for DNS propagation. Then, I received another email telling me to change the MX record. I had no idea what that was or how to do it. After Googling how to change MX records, I received another email from Big Rock saying that if I didn't change the MX record, I wouldn't be able to receive emails. BOOM! My email stopped working.Big Rock had no phone numbers for contact, only Kodee the Bot. I spent a whole day figuring out how to change the MX record, which would take another 48 hours to propagate. Meanwhile, I couldn't log into my Big Rock account because I couldn't receive the verification code via email. I checked the DNS settings and saw that everything had changed, but my email still wasn't working. I contacted HostGator, and they confirmed that everything was pointed to Big Rock. They told me to take it up with Big Rock.Frustrated, I contacted Microsoft 365 for help with my email. They discovered that Big Rock hadn't changed the DNS settings for my site. The Microsoft 365 support person mentioned that Big Rock had many issues with their services and advised against using them. I emailed Big Rock to cancel my subscription, but they replied that I needed to log into my account to cancel, which I couldn't do because my email wasn't working.I contacted HostGator to restore my site and renewed my hosting with them for $158 annually, compared to $199 for 48 months with Big Rock. It took another 48 hours for my email to work again. I had the worst experience with Big Rock. Instead of canceling my subscription, they charged my PayPal account another $158 for September and another $158 for October 8, 2025. I had to report this to the PayPal fraud department and cancel my card. Once my email was working again, I logged into my Big Rock account and canceled my subscription. Big Rock is the worst company I have ever encountered.

The migration was super easy. There was an issue with the files I uploaded and the AI chat was super detailed and specifically responsive to my questions. For a different part, I needed a live agent and the agent was very helpful and quick and efficient. Already my website is running way faster for much cheaper hosting than what I was paying previously. So happy I moved over. The interface is clean and intuitive.
