I've been loving Big Rock as my domain/web hosting service. The cost is good and the help is great! Setup is very easy and their site is easy to navigate. 3 Domains later and still loving it. I recommend them to everybody thinking about doing their own website.

i Changed my mind about VPS, shifted to another cloud provider and asked for refund and the amount was transferred directly no questions asked. one downside though which is common with most providers is the technical support for unmanaged hosting, i believe it has room for improvement.

So, Big Rock has been really pushing their AI support assistant, Kodee, lately. I understand why they do it, I respect it. My only problem is that it fails to handle special cases or edge cases, which in my experience is usually what people contact support for - when there's an unusual situation and they want help with it. Hold that thought.I paid for a 1-email plan for my domain for a year, then I bought hosting for it which came with 25 free emails. Cool! But one problem. I couldn't use it on that domain, since I already had the paid plan on it.I opened a Big Rock chat, and heard:"Turn off auto-renewal, and when your plan expires, it'll switch to your free plan"I'm not waiting a year for that. I tried to negotiate, but nothing. Then I insisted on speaking to a human person, and the AI pretended to be a human at first (Yikes!) before actually putting me through to a real support agent, named Mantas.I was on a chat with the awful Kodee AI agent for maybe 15 minutes? I even sent an email during that time, only to get another response from the AI.**Mantas solved my problem in 45 seconds.**I don't know if the AI is just bad or if Mantas is an exceptional support agent (maybe both are true), but either way. I recommend you to insist to support (particularly if you get contacted by "Kodee" or suspiciously fast responses) to speak to a real human. You'll probably get better support that way. And if Mantas helps you, consider yourself lucky. :)

I’m extremely disappointed with Big Rock’s handling of my account suspension. My hosting account was permanently suspended on March 26, 2025, without prior warning or clear explanation. I immediately submitted a formal appeal and provided all requested documents, but after several days and multiple follow-up emails, I have received no meaningful response from their team.This situation has severely impacted my business, as I not only host my own websites but also client websites that are now completely inaccessible. These websites do NOT contain any gambling or prohibited content, yet Big Rock continues to delay any resolution.Some of my clients are now threatening legal action against me for service interruption and data loss. I’ve been using Big Rock for a while, and overall, their server performance has been solid. The uptime and speed have been great for my website, and they offer competitive pricing. However, my experience with their customer support has been less than ideal.Recently, my account was suspended due to a chargeback, and while the issue was eventually resolved and my refund was processed, the bigger problem is that they still haven’t provided me with my backup. After the refund, I expected my account to be fully restored with all of my data intact, but despite multiple requests, I haven’t received any help in retrieving it.The biggest issue with Big Rock's support is the lack of resolution. While they are quick to respond to chats, the responses often don’t address the actual problem. It's more like a series of generic replies, leaving the problem unresolved.In short, while Big Rock's servers are great, their support leaves a lot to be desired, especially if you run into an issue like mine. If you're looking for a reliable host, I’d recommend them for performance, but just be cautious when it comes to customer service in case things go wrong.
