It took some time and posting a bad review to get a refund, but I appreciate that they reached out to help me cancel the product I didn’t want to auto renew. Thanks Tom for the help. I’d recommend Namecheap adopt a more proactive customer service policy to avoid the wasted time. But like I said it got done and shoutout specifically to the rep who helped me. Original review: They do not honor their policy, be careful on the auto renew function. I tried to cancel and get a refund within five days and they refused to honor it, they do not care about their customers.

My website "disappeared". I know enough to be dangerous - so to speak. After trying the AI help for 2+ hours I realize I wasn't getting anywhere. Once Costa came online the problem was solved within 2 minutes. And after the DNS cycled, the website was back online.

The Rep Knick listened to my concerns. He helped me to set up my email without having to go through Microsoft. The Rep reported about the lack of security and the need to add dollars to enroll. The $478 that I paid last year should cover the security cost.

When we really needed assistance we could always depend on Namecheap to provide a human to listen to the problem and provide answers or escalate to another level when necessary. Although I had to wait for my call to be answered, this was probably down to the time I chose to call rather than Namecheap, I was really happy with my experience. The call handler really listened to what I needed, and given my little tech knowledge, she worked out what I actually wanted and went through it in language I understood. I now have all the information on how to purchase my product; I was offered to sort it all out on the call. However, I needed purchasing approval before I could proceed. I am very confident that I can do the rest myself, and if I do run into any trouble, Namecheap will be there to help me out.
