My club has a website with Namecheap. It started out $80 dollars but over the years Namecheap just keeps adding more products and bills three years out so we can't even cancel products that are being billed duplicate. Our cost now is hundreds of dollars a year. Their site builder is very limited for a business but works for a simple site for our club. The payment system does not work for a club because it can't accept payments for dues. DO NOT use Namecheap payments for a club or business, they even recommend Stripe, PayPal, or Square and admit their payment system doesn't function for the task. The phone support only knows answers to basic questions and then transfers you to another department. I spent an entire day on the phone and chat with no solution. Namecheap is the worst experience I have ever had!

They blocked my pay link, something about risk, after I told them I was helping a woman fight her foreclosure with no expectation of compensation, but she donates money to me on occasion as I am having financial difficulties myself. Considering altruism amongst poor people as a risk has got to be the snobbiest thing I have ever heard.

Its easy to get lazy when you're the big dog in your industry. I had a pretty big problem and I knew it would take a while to fix. Nikka was patient and stayed with me the entire 60 mins plus. She never showed frustration nor raised her voice with all the questions I asked even I would have lost my cool with me. I got my problem solved and Nikka still made it a sweeter deal in the end. I'm very satisfied.

Received an email that Namecheap is charging me $292 for my annual website. I used to have a baking business and it's still up and licensed but I no longer take orders as life is busy crazy and I don't see myself baking as a side hustle anymore. In other words, I don't need the site anymore. Called Namecheap and Gavin understood my concern and suggested maybe if I want to go back to it one day, if I'd like to still own my website domain. And absolutely yes. Gavin was helpful and knowledgeable..assisted me quickly and didn't have to transfer me or put me on hold. I appreciate that a lot.

Namecheap is a bunch of self-serving scammers!!!! I paid for a website for 4 years. My credit card expiration date ran out and instead of contacting me for new expiration date they locked me out of my domain I came up with!!! Will only use WIX From now on!
