I hate Big Rock. I've been trying to log into my account for 20 minutes and it keeps telling me " Error 1015You are being rate limited" and there is no way at all to log in to my account. Big Rock is expensive, they don't care about you once you buy hosting from them, they cheat with prices, you see a very low price at the beginning and then it turns out that this price is only low if you buy for a very long period. No technical support, only a robot. No possibility to log in and blocking access to the account. No clear information when you try to find the necessary information, for example for wordpress optimization or some settings. You have to really struggle to find the necessary tips. This is my last year with Big Rock. Never again!

Big Rock is a Great Platform to build your website. They provide modern techniques and useful plugins for a very nominal price. Good luck with your journey. Adarsh - User

I'm very happy to have Big Rock host my websites. They're reasonably priced, and generally easy to manage with some great tools and an online store. But most of all, if you ever get stuck, their support is 101%, with real people on hand to walk you through. I highly recommend them for small businesses like myself.

I moved from Wix to Big Rock. Massive regret. Examples:You cannot hide a page that is in a dropdown menu. There is a button there that implies you can, but if you try it will remove the page from the dropdown and place it at the top of the tree as a header, unhidden. If you import unformatted text into a text box, every carriage return becomes a paragraph break. If you have a vertical list you have to delete each paragraph break and press CMD-Enter to insert a carriage return. If not, your list will have huge and odd spaces. Try doing that 50 times and not experiencing regret. Basic functions like adding a TAB space in the text editor do not work. In the media area, where you have uploaded image, you cannot select more that one image to move or delete. Say you uploaded 20 images and want to delete them, you must click on a menu and select delete. Press that then confirm you want to delete it. Same if you want to organise them into folders. These basic things are easy in Wix. I was told months ago they were looking into the text box issues but nothing has changed. I've got a big project coming up and it is so bad I'm thinking of cutting my losses. I also hope they might see this and do something. I wish. The help is great in the sense that you can chat with them quickly but the response is generally clean the cache, try a different browser etc. The first port of call is the AI assistant: that usually suggests some code to work around the issue. I'm not interested in learning how to code.

Completely horrible service. Trying to ship ne off with some ai response, followed by a correspondence resulting in the fact that the don't know how to help me get a Webflow site to work with their own DNS setting. Sending me off to Webflow support instead of getting to know how it works is simply not worth more than two stars.

most of the processes are professional and gut.

They lost all of a week's worth of information from several databases of my apps (because they changed the remote access IP) and then they didn't have backups and they weren't responsible. I looked very bad in front of my clients. I don't recommend them at all.

Domains Renewal Reminder
I recently had one of the worst experiences with Big Rock, and I feel compelled to warn others. I purchased a domain, left.pt, through their platform on August 29th, 2024. Everything seemed fine until today when I received an email saying that my domain had been canceled by the original registrar. Without any warning or proper explanation, the domain I paid for was gone.To make matters worse, Big Rock refused to refund my money! They claim I’m “not eligible” for a refund, despite the fact that they failed to deliver the domain I purchased. This is not just bad business—it feels like a scam! How can you take money for a product and then tell your customer they can’t have it, and refuse to make it right?Customer service has been completely unhelpful, offering no solution other than telling me I’m not getting my money back. If this isn’t illegal, it’s certainly unethical. I highly recommend avoiding Big Rock at all costs if you value transparency and decent service. It’s clear that Big Rock doesn’t care about their customers, and I won’t be using their services again. Don’t waste your time or money on this company.

I bought a 12 month package and during the building stage it offered an upgrade to business package so I bought it It the ended up being 3 times the original price I complained about getting a refund of £40They said I would have to cancel whole plan get a refund of £107Then get a new plan for £61.78 And then completely rebuild the website againThey were happy to do this !!!!But my reviews would have been excellent had they just give me the refund of £40It seems such a lot of work for both sides for just £40So I’m debating whether do I just call it a day and go somewhere else Or will someone see sense I have a couple of weeks to decide

They invest money in advertising and also pay YouTubers to promote them as the best, but in reality, their service is terrible. I purchased Business Web Hosting, not the regular one, with a 5-year plan. For the first year or less, everything was fine with no errors, and the website speed was good. But now, my website is much slower compared to a year ago. After that, they started showing their true colors. I began receiving messages saying, 'Resource limits are reached, upgrade your plan,' even though my website is still under construction with no visitors or activity. So why are the resources limited? Their AI chat provides no helpful answers. On top of that, they have an inode limit. I wish I had researched what an inode limit was before buying their hosting. I still have 4 years left, and if I had the option for a refund, I would take it

I've been using their services for a short time, and luckily I didn't commit to paying for a year or more upfront! According to their policy, you have 30 days to cancel a service, but here's the catch—any funds in your Big Rock account are non-refundable, meaning they can only be used with them. The "Premium Web Hosting" plan doesn't allow access to FTP, so if you want to build a website, you're forced to use their internal website builder. But beware! You will never actually own the website, even if you've added your own content, images, or designed the entire template. Plus, you can't transfer it to another hosting provider. The biggest issue for me is the limitation on email. You get a free plan with only 1GB of mailbox storage (which you can't increase). If you want to upgrade, you have to pay separately for each email address. So, if you have 10 email addresses, you’ll pay 10 times for the extra space (e.g., 10GB per email). On top of that, once you upgrade, you lose access to the free plan entirely! Of course, this crucial detail isn't mentioned anywhere in their service specs.Their service is so limited and profit-focused that the competition (e.g., Hostido) completely outshines them in terms of pricing and features you get. The only positive experience I can mention is the live chat, which is very helpful.

This is my first time using their hosting service, which I purchased on August 29th for a 2-year term. I built a website using their service, and on September 5th, my site was nearly complete with many images uploaded. Suddenly, it was closed with the claim that it violated their terms. They said someone reported my site as fraudulent, which is baffling since the site is still under construction and has no visibility or information on Google. I don’t understand how anyone could have seen it or complained.I requested to download my website data and a refund, but their response was that I violated their terms and thus, no refund could be issued. This clearly seems like a scam company. Perhaps I am the only one facing this issue, but I am extremely frustrated as I have lost several days of work.
