First, they refused to register my domain because it contained the word "coin," claiming that anything with "coin" must be a scam. Seriously? When I asked for a refund (30 day refund gurantee) to move to another host where I could register the domain I wanted, they refused, citing that the payment was made in a "volatile" currency. I paid in USDC, which is pegged 1:1 to the dollar—no volatility there. This company is a total scam. Avoid hosting with them at all costs. The support is beyond incompetent. They essentially stole $280 from me with no refund, no reasonable explanation, just excuses.

I had a very disappointing experience with Big Rock regarding my hosting plan downgrade. Instead of issuing a refund for the downgrade, they charged me ?68.64 without any prior notice. I explicitly requested the downgrade to save costs, expecting a refund, yet Big Rock informed me that I had to pay for the downgrade instead. When I raised my concern, their support team mentioned that "a downgrade does not issue a refund" and insisted on charging me even though I didn’t agree to this extra cost. I was frustrated to learn that "there's no way to reimburse a downgrade" and that I had been unknowingly charged.Overall, the customer service was unhelpful, and their policies felt misleading. This experience left me no choice but to look for a new hosting provider.

I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with Big Rock's services, specifically concerning my recent purchase of a VPS hosting plan and a DirectAdmin license. On 28th July 2024, I purchased a VPS hosting plan from Big Rock for ?15,267. Additionally, I bought a DirectAdmin license for ?11,865 (prorated for two years, paid upfront to Big Rock) since it was essential for running my server. On 23rd August 2024, I contacted Big Rock's live chat support due to persistent speed issues and was advised to upgrade my server. Before proceeding with the upgrade, I explicitly asked if my DirectAdmin license would be transferred to the new server. Big Rock's support confirmed that the license would indeed be transferred. Unfortunately, this chat was later deleted by Big Rock, making it impossible for me to retrieve this important evidence. After upgrading the server and migrating all my data, Big Rock assured me that the DirectAdmin license would be applied within 2-3 days. I continuously followed up with their support, only to be given conflicting responses—some agents claimed the license would be transferred soon, while others informed me that it wouldn't be transferred, and my license cost would be lost.Growing increasingly frustrated after a week of this back-and-forth, I contacted DirectAdmin support directly. They informed me that the license had been removed by Big Rock and that DirectAdmin had only received payment for one month, despite the fact that I had paid Big Rock for two years upfront. This made it clear to me that Big Rock has deliberately tried to withhold my money. This experience has left me feeling cheated and misled. Big Rock's fraud and failure to honor their commitments is unacceptable. I request immediate resolution, either by transferring the license as promised or refunding the full amount paid for the license.

Been a customer with them for last couple of years and have been using Cloud Enterprise plan. I must say that at first things improved and support was good but for last couple of months the down time has affected a lot and been down for a few hours seems to be quite normal. Be very very careful before signing up for Big Rock and they seem to be good with marketing. Horrible experience and today they were down for more than 3 hours and the status page already says that we have applied the fix and monitoring where as in reality you can't even open the site. Moreover if you are looking for fast reliable hosting then Big Rock is the worst in my opinion. Customer support keeps on saying we are sorry for the incoveniance bla bla and at the end they ask you "please let me know how can i help you" lol I am trying to get my refund and interestingly i just spoke with Paulius Žunda just three days back about how they have improved but still a few things need to be worked on and today it was just game over. I hope i can get some sort of refund from them and move to another host because they are not what they project.UPDATE: I have been asking you guys to refund me my money and you did not, instead you gave extension and i agreed to it. Now yesterday your DB server was having issues according to your chat support and your technical team fixed it after 30 minutes. I requested again for refund because the agreement was there won't be anymore downtime or issues but within 24 hours it proved that you guys have no right to be in business. Now today when i emailed for refund and shared the DB issue screenshot your support staff went to my live ecommerce site and disabled plugins just to show that everything is working fine which is crazy because i never asked for it and who on earth does testing on a live site?Be careful and do not trust the marketing etc. They are a scam and one should stay away from them.

Misleading prices poor support. Don't get sucked into this hosting companies introductory offers you'll end getting stung for renewal fees. The support is substandard chat based novices who just cut and paste standard answers. Really don't have anything good to say about this hosting company and will be leaving when my deal expires.

It is a great pity that Cloud Hosting from Big Rock is limited by the number of files (inodes): I find this as something unprofessional. :(

It was well written and concise info.

It works well for the most part: there's some functions I like that Big Rock can't do. BUT my bigger issue is not only are the AI features completely and utterly useless, it's also highly unethical. Are you PAYING the artists you scrape ot get the graphic designs? And on top of that you're CHARGING people for it when it ends up looking so crummy you'd be better off just HIRING an artist to begin with.

Never ever buy anything from Hosting. They keep charging your bank account and there is no way to resolve it. They will keep changing statement and charging your account.

I've been using Big Rock for my website hosting, and I must say, the overall experience has been fantastic! The hosting speed is incredibly fast, ensuring that my website runs smoothly with minimal downtime. The control panel is user-friendly, making it easy for anyone to manage their website, even without technical expertise. Plus, the customer support team is responsive and helpful, addressing any issues quickly. However, there's one thing to note: the renewal pricing. While the initial pricing is very affordable and competitive, the renewal rates are significantly higher. It would be great if Big Rock offered more consistent pricing or a more transparent renewal process to avoid surprises. All in all, Big Rock is an excellent choice for website hosting, but be sure to keep the renewal pricing in mind.

I paid $15 to Big Rock to transfer my Domain Name from another host since I was unable to do so on my own. I hope that this time I will receive my Domain Name transferred without further hassle. My simple goal is to publish my website which I completed a month ago. I wait for the 7-day transfer period.

Misleading prices, support is better if you ask someone on the street actually. The "so called support" was so poor knowledge, so ubknownm lwke that they came from the moon actually. Yes, it was all about thr replying the same thing for a ttally fidderent suooiert,And i still do not kow what is all about, what is the worst thing that it could happend to absolutely anyone on the earth, thos os mpt tptal dissapointment, but total disaster, if you know what i mran.

It is going good. I am still learning, making mistakes, resolving issues. Sometimes it feels great but sometimes.... Overall it's a good learning experience.

I was charged an extortionate amount for the my Google Workspace contract, for an account that hadn't been used for many months. No cooling off period was allowed; quite the opposite - they said I should have cancelled 14 days before the new contract started (cooling off periods are normally after 14 days in the UK). I was then told that they can't do anything about it as Google Workspace is a third party service. I was also told that "Currently, our policies are governed by our global Terms of Service and are applied uniformly to all customers, regardless of their location. We do not adhere to any specific country’s laws, including English and Welsh law."

Everything is great but I’m just worried about Malaysian connection to the surver issue. Afraid that other people cannot access my website that I made with Big Rock Web Builder.
