STILL an utter garbage company.customer service is just woeful. across the board. 6 or 7 people. all equally incompetent. super slow response times when your inbox is down isn't acceptable for a company such as this. They don't care. too busy responding with garbage than fixing your problem.Trying to make a complaint is nigh on impossible.Heaven mend you if you get camilo, jerome or kevin. Utterly feckless. Do NOT buy services from these guys. no matter how good a deal you think it is and how good your service has been. just don't!When you inevitably run out of the crap amount of storage they give you, when you click the upgrade link and go to their website. Then spend another £220. Your email still won't work. You'll get some absolute nonsense about accounts and they can see it all but won't actually help you. Then when you ask how to make a complaint 6 staff won't actually do that. Just cut copy paste some nonsense reply. Leading you to lead a trust pilot review as they clearly can't read English all that well, nor care to help an actual customer. So on that basis I'll report it as fraud and get my money back and move my business elsewhere.Genuinely never had such abysmal, incompetent, convoluted, obnoxious and ignorant, rude, slow service from a tech company in my life. I used to work for the co founder of Microsoft and the founder of Sandisk, the reason this shyster outfit exist... I am embarrassed to say I used to be a customer. Buyer beware!! These guys suck bill gates donkeys d1ck.

I was an able customer with Big Rock for 2 years and right before my domains were due to be renewed, I turned off the auto renewal by disabling the Togo switch which is located in the manage my domain area. My website was not set to be renewed until 10-14-2024 but they (Big Rock) still automatically charged me renewal fees on September 21, 2024 which was way before the renewal date. I even disabled the auto renewal well in advance and they still charged me. They must charge a month before it's due to renew is all that I can figure. That is so stupid and not right! Also, on September 21 and September 25, 2024 I received fraud alerts from my bank for $143 dollar each from an attempt to charge my PayPal from Cypress. Can you believe that? I had 2 fraud alerts within 4 days! Also, they charged some of my other websites via my credit card for renewal that I did not authorize either. Also, the auto renewal was disabled for these domains as well! I am definitely NO longer happy with Big Rock. They are dirty when it comes to renewing a website domain. Bottom line, I didn't want to renew the websites and they still charged me! I chatted with billing and customer support today about this and they said they couldn't give me a refund because they said that the auto renewal was still turned on at the time of when they charged my account. I didnt authorize for Big Rock to charge me early. My domain wasn't even set to renew until next month which is October 2024 and I had everything disabled when it came to auto renewal. Today is September 25, 2024. I had 10 domains all together and I'm still trying to delete them. Never again will I use Big Rock. Please be aware that they will try and charge you to renew your domain(s) even if you don't have auto renewal enabled. What a dirty practice! I asked for a refund and they refused. Chat said wait to do a review first and let them put in a support ticket. I said no, I'm doing a review now and not wasting anymore time with them. If they fix it then I will update this review but I sincerely doubt that is going to happen. I STRONGLY suggest you pick a different company. I no longer recommend Big Rock because of their dirty payment policies that they currently have in place. I will only pick hosting website company that is located inside the USA from now on and I am thinking about now using wordpress.org and hosting it myself from my computer. I am tired of paying for these services and getting the worst customer service responses. Caution,be careful when using Big Rock.com - they are dirty!

Domains Renewal Reminder
So far I'm pretty happy with Big Rock. It was super easy to set up my website. There are a few quirks - things I can't customize, I'm limited on setting up tax rates for Canada (can only set 1 even though there are several), I can't set up shipping fees by item (only by weight or price) - but they are things I can live with for now. As I grow I hope these things will be improved on. Customer service is hard to reach if you lose access to your account (I wasn't receiving login verification codes via email) but once you find them support is good.
