Migrating over form a small business private hosting service to Hostgator has been nearly a breeze. They handle a lot when it comes to moving your domain. Once moved i found building my website and managing the changes far easier than any other platform. The help and support is some of the best i have ever experienced and their AI support bot makes you feel like you connected to a human, who by the way actually knows how to help and solve nearly every query I have had. I have now begun to recommend Hostgator to everyone I know if they are feeling frustrated or challenged with their current web hosting or management system.

Deteriorating Customer Support and Unfair Account SuspensionRecently, I have noticed a significant decline in Hostgator’s customer support. Previously, responses to inquiries would come within a few minutes, but now it takes 10 minutes or even longer, even when the support agent appears to be online.An even bigger issue arose with my hosting plan. Although there were still 14 days left until its expiration, Hostgator decided to suspend it because they failed to deduct the payment from my account. Just a few hours later, I topped up my account and attempted to make the payment, but my hosting was already blocked, and my websites have been down ever since. More than 24 hours have passed, yet the issue remains unresolved, and customer support has not provided a clear answer.This kind of service is completely unacceptable. Instead of helping to resolve the situation, Hostgator has made it even worse. I have been a loyal customer, but after this experience, I am seriously considering switching to another provider.UPDATE:It has now been over 84 hours, and my account is still blocked. I appreciate your efforts, but I am becoming increasingly concerned as this issue remains unresolved.As I mentioned before, I run a marketing agency, and due to the account suspension, my clients' websites and email services remain offline. This is causing significant disruptions to my work and affecting my clients as well.I also noticed something very concerning—while my account is still not working, the ticket I opened is marked as "resolved", even though the problem is clearly not fixed. Additionally, I received a faster response to my feedback than an actual solution to my issue, which is frustrating.I kindly ask you to urgently prioritize unblocking my account while the payment adjustment process continues. I understand that technical and financial issues may take time, but my services should not be interrupted because of this.Please provide an update as soon as possible, and let me know if there is anything I can do from my side to help speed up the resolution.

Bad support. I lost access to my hosting account, they asked to verify the documents and I did but since then none of them contacted me back. If you are in a such situation just be prepared to be waiting for a long time before they get back to you, you'll be losing your rankings while none of them cares.

They withhdrew money from my debit card without notifying me.I asked for a refund but they say they dont issue refund for domain names.So it is normal for them to take people's money without notifying them, but when you ask them to get back your money, it is against their policy.Becareful of these cannibals, they will automatically withdraw money from your bank card without prior notification.And don't be fooled by all those positive reviews, most of them are fake.

It was great 2-3 years ago, but recently every conversation with customer support is super long (you have to wait for hours) and they don't answer the question. In short, it's time to leave, it's become mediocre.

Garbage. Two days to get log in after the 2FA got activated somehow and I have no access to emails because its been transferred? Thats simply riculous. Their customer service is non existent, I cant want to get access so I can move it to a more friendly and better platform. Two days of downtime is a lifetime, they dont get that.

horrifically inconsistent throughput on 1c1r vps used for amnezia. Seven money monthly is absurdly overpriced. Support is seemingly nonresponsive. But unlike linode and digitalocean they accept credit card payments behind privacy-protecting VPN which is a must on the internet of today

I find security process little unfriendly: our two accounts were blocked without any warning and with no clear explanation. Evidence that is required to submit to recover the accounts is not necessarily and always on hands. the biggest frustration is of coures the unexpected loss of access, I am sure you understand what that might mean for an organization
