I spoke with Brian with customer support and he was very helpful in figuring out how to solve my error code issue. He needed me to put a trace route on my laptop and he sent me instructions on how to do this. He then waited on the line for me to do it and talk me through the steps. I was impressed with how patient and personable he was. 5 stars!!

Customer care from Tiffany, my Care Guide, was superb. She took care of me and resolved my frustrations, shared targeted resources and resolved my issues. Everyone I have spoken with has been top notch in support, above and beyond what I have ever experienced.

The agent spoke very fast and I had to remind her to slow down twice. She also was talking over what I was saying. I asked her to stop and she did. Other than things the call was very helpful.

Jordan helped me garner a refund for sites that were old and I wasn't using. She also helped me on getting more protection on my current email address I use daily to keep hackers away.

The Representative actively listened to my concerns and provided a customized solution that solved my issues. Phil George showed tremendous knowledge and expertise in the area where I needed the most help. Phil provided that help and much more through offering his recommendations that would save me time and money in the long run. Therefore, making this an outstanding customer experience.

It would appear that the company is very quick to take the money but very difficult to find when you need to move forward. As a beginner, I have found this process to be very beginner unfriendly.

This is used to be a great company. Now, the worst vendor I have to deal with until I move away. Their support is awful. They used to have humans and phones when they were amazing and gained their reputation. They want to cut their service, but prices don't come down.

I’ve been a loyal Namecheap customer for years, but my recent experience has been extremely disappointing. A Namecheap representative convinced me that I needed a Commerce plan to run my website, even though I don’t use scheduling, billing, or payments. I was misled into paying for features I did not need. After realizing I had been overpaying for YEARS, I called Namecheap to request a refund. The first rep I spoke with was helpful at first, offering me a $70 something dollar credit and suggesting I could potentially be refunded the difference for all the years I had overpaid. I was told I’d receive an email follow-up after the call from higher ups regarding that. I asked him if there was a cell I could call instead or if they can call me and he said they only do emails. I never got an email after the call. When I called back two days later, I was shocked to find there were no notes on my account and no credit issued. It was as if my long conversation had never happened. I had to waste more time re-explaining my situation. This time, they only offered me a $37 credit — less than what I was promised — and told me no credits had been applied to my account. I requested that they review my previous call, they said they would and I was told I’d get a callback within a day. Once again, I never got a call back.I followed up again myself, and after days of waiting, I got the same response as before. Why would the first representative offer me a $70 credit and possibly more, only for nothing to happen? The third rep promised to connect me with the original person I spoke to within an hour. That was a while ago, and I’m still waiting. If you’re considering Namecheap, be cautious. They may upsell you on services you don’t need, and their customer service is unreliable. Expect to spend hours repeating your situation with no resolution in sight. I am a young small business owner and am upset that I have been overpaying for a subscription I did not need. I am debating on hosting my website elsewhere.
