The second Namecheap rep Aldrin was great. He was professional, knowledgeable, professional, patient helpful and he cared deeply to solve my issue. Which he did, rather quickly.Now, the issue was that Namecheap removed my website (hosted by another company) since I was entitled to free website from Namecheap. They assumed I would start a new one with them. No interest! What they did was unethical, did not ask my permission and I would venture to say, potentially illegal. My website was down. So I may have lost potential business.Many thanks to Aldrin for understanding the issue and restoring my website. He was the savior! I am now very cautious to recommend Namecheap because of their unethical standards. Thank you Aldrin for solving my issue.

I recentlyly had a highly frustrating experience with Namecheap’s customer service. As a long-time customer, I rely on the automatic charges for my domains and other services to ensure my websites remain active, as well as I had some questions on selling my domains. However, I encountered some issues that required assistance and reached out to their customer support chat for help. Unfortunately, the experience was far from satisfactory.Firstly, the response times in the chat were incredibly slow. I received responses at intervals ranging from 5 to 30 minutes, which made it very difficult to have a coherent and productive conversation. This delayed response not only tested my patience but also prolonged the resolution of my issues. I might understand that there might be many other customers, but then the support specialists need to pay more attention of what was asked.. Because the support agents repeatedly asked me the same questions I had already answered, showing a lack of attention to detail and a failure to review the chat history. This redundancy added to my frustration and made me feel like I was not being heard or understood.Despite my efforts to communicate my problems clearly, I did not receive any helpful suggestions or solutions from the support team. My issues remained unresolved, and I was left without any guidance on how to proceed. Additionally, I requested follow-up via email but never received any communication, thus so my problems were left unresolved.To improve, Namecheap needs to address several key areas, such as improving response times, mote impotantly - train support specialists, focus on offering practical and effective solutions rather than generic responses, commit to following up with customers via their preferred communication channels to ensure issues are fully resolved.
