Namecheap has very friendly and - above all - patient staff, who are on call 24/7 to solve any internet and email dilemmas. For this reason, I will always recommend Namecheap. However this is why domain name registration etc costs a bit more with Namecheap than other providers.

Customer service was excellent, I truly liked the "there are no stupid questions" approach to less knowledgeable clients.

They have real humans that talk to you on the phone. In my case they had to resolve a Squarespace issue (only dumb bots over at Squarespace to help). And Jennifer at Namecheap was gracious, very helpful and guided me through fixing it.
