Erickson was patient and clear and did his part. HOWEVER transferring to the department which handled the issue of final connection of my email address (and subsequent recovery of emails), I waited on hold for 25 minutes AND THEY NEVER PICKED UP.So the entire mission (after 2 hour call) is incomplete and I don't know what happens next.

I've always had great service with Namecheap. No matter what my issue may be, they always have the answer and get it resolved quickly. Prices for domains are reasonable too. I wouldn't trust any other company the way I trust Namecheap.

The agent I spoke with, Peyton, was stellar. But Namecheap as a company is going downhill. They are all over the place and their business model may make them more money, but the customer is suffering. Customer service is pot luck, they have , multiple departments, most of them are closed after 6pm and on weekends, theiy outsource their customer service to overseas and the wait times are too long. There is no longer a support line exclusive to Namecheap partners. Namecheap is no longer the company I thought it was. Not as good as they used to be.

The agents at Go Daddy are always available and super helpful. They understand products, technical aspects, and how to speak the language of regular people. Well worth it!

(I had to wait 27 min to talk to a person, what seems ok for a Saturday night). To get to a solution, I'm now waiting 12-24 hours for the systems to update. That's ok, too

Tech rep was great! He figured out what the issue was with my SSL. Very knowledgeable. Informed me that my legacy hosting could be changed to a faster and better Linux C Panel for same price.
