My customer service rep was helpful and friendly. She even answered a bonus question.Full disclosure: I had to wait on hold for close to 10 minutes. Namecheap warned me about that and was accurate.

It’s pretty easy to get started and build your own website for business, link to social and include add on features. A bit of a disconnect with types of features when ready to pay and must be watchful of this; e.g. email. Customer service was nice and patient and answered many questions to satisfaction.

Beware! Found a domain name that I liked and when I went back the next day to buy it it was not available. Coincidence?Same day I found another domain name which I liked and went to discuss it with my partner who also liked it. When I went back to buy the domain it was not available. Another coincidence?On both occasions Namecheap wanted a fee to negotiate a sale with the new owner.I then went to lookup.icann.org and checked the day both names were registered and as I suspect they were both registered on same days as I checked.This is not right and I will look around and ask questions on reddit and other forums to see if this is normal. Not sure if Namecheap are doing this or some third party is behind it. Either way Namecheap are the ones who need to sort out the problem.
