I have been with Go Daddy for several years and did not realize my domain name was coming for renewal. I dealt with Rupert , let me tell you he was a delight to work with , His customer service training was noticed . I have to deal with a lot of customer service rep's and Rupert was one of the best , he represented the company with his knowledge and customer care . It was pleasant experience and MADE MY DAY. Thank you Rupert.

Website setup was great and took about an hour to get a domain name, a decent-looking website up and running. The self-updating checklist is a big help.Customer service was great. I had to call in to find out how to activate my new site's email address. The online formed worked immediately, but not the email. There should be a step in the checklist about how to set this up...I had no idea I had to create an Outlook mail account until I called customer service.

Customer Service contact is good. You can actually speak to a human which is so much quicker for end users than using a bot. With limited technical knowledge and no experience of building a website Namecheap were able to get me started.

Money seems to buy a ton of reviews. there cannot be a hosting company that is worse than this. 1- The users interface is worthless, and provides no help and no info whatsoever, that is necessary to get the hosting to work. 2- outdated in everyway. 3- simple: need to know what the nbame servers are, and spent 45 minutes with chat, did NOT get an answer. just to point the domain name to the hosting service, / website. They finally said, "well, the domain is not with go daddy so we cannot help" LOL .. they did not understand that where the domain is, does not matter, i just need the dns, to point the domain to the FULLY paid web hosting service. mind you, name servers on 90% of hosting companies, is usually right there in your face when you login. here? you really have nothing when you login but cpanel access. and they arent cheap by all means. lucky me, I am just helping someone. and right now, I am trying to help you all. if you want some quality iinterface and average support: chose anyone else, because this is well below average in just about everything. Collasol pile of turd on top of each other at every level.

WARNING!!! Watch yourselves...selected a desireable .co.uk address (I was surprised it was available)...added it to my cart with the advertised first year cost of £3.99. Went to pay BUT IT HAD DISAPPEARED! Re-entered it and was advised I could get broker help for £94.99 to try to acquire it! ZH (suitably anonymous)...you continue to try to defend the indefensible. You are promoting domain names, with a suggested £9 first year cost, that you are fully aware will, in reality, cost thousands of pounds. All you have to do is highlight these domains which attract HUGE additional broker and commission payments PRIOR TO CUSTOMERS ADDING THEM TO THEIR BASKET; it really isn't rocket science...which is why I label your practice as DISINGENUOUS.ALSO...MOST OF MY PREVIOUS POINTS HAVE BEEN REMOVED>>>NOT BY ME!!

Scammers! Beware of your account auto sign up to products you might have clicked 1 time. Especially the website "FREE". All the fine prints are hidden then they auto set on auto renewal charging your card!! Buyers beware! Don't even bother trying to get your money back, it will NEVER happen!

Have been trying to recover my account after an employee left. We are trying to put up a new website and for over a week they keep promising they will take care of it in a few hours, but have to keep calling and get the same BS. Still waiting. Horrible service.

If I could give a 0 star rating, I would! Renewal policy is an absolute scam, you get different prices for the same product and they increase over time. I was offered 360 Euro to renew by one associate and then 390 not even 30 minutes later by another. Their customer support agents are completely incompetent and do not even know the product they're supporting. It is getting close to a SCAM

I’m very pleased with the professionalism, respect and patience that I was shown. Though I haven’t received a resolution I feel that my concern is important to Namecheap.

Needed to give domain access to devs.Namecheaps settings dont allow a single domain access, only FULL ACCOUNT access. It says you can set permission to single domains, but you cant. Phone chat confirmed its a flaw and lots of people complain about it.Absolutely ridiculous that a company this size doesnt have something this basic in place. I just have to trust that the devs wont mess it up or use this access maliciously.Just insane.

I was a Namecheap customer for years but now I want a refund. Why? On February 24, 2025, they took $211 (210.80 to be precise) from my account without my permission. I emailed them about the matter and got no answer. I called them twice but my calls were interrupted just when I demanded a refund. I'd say, beware when you enroll!

Shabir (customer service) was very helpful, however the Recovery Team response seems to be very slow, not maximum 72 hours as per web site but nearly 10 days. Vgx

I had an account with Namecheap for about 2 years and never used the POS on my phone as I was and will be returning to Venmo and Square to deal with my business in Baltimore City as I sell products on the street and the way I see it is leave well enough alone as Phyllis obviously comes from a privileged life as she wants to have me print out invoices for customers who would barely give me their names where in Baltimore there are open drug markets all over with Baltimore Cites finest men in women in blue doing nothing but staying safe in their cars, so...Phyllis cost Namecheap probably about 300 a month in revenue at the 2.3% commission for the taking so as I said, Phyllis is bad at her job and Venmo, Square and PayPal are smiling once again Glen Brown

i've reported lots of phishing domains to Namecheap and they do nothing about it. Before they said "we arent the hosting provider" however since the ICANN RAA update in April 2024 they respond with "not enough evidence" to bypass this.Additionally, their domains are extremely overpriced and they will try to sell you stuff you dont want or need when buying a domain.Edit: Just copy and paste stuff from your abuse reporting procedure. Nice.
