Namecheap agents are lying on trust Pilot saying they are replying to their complaints on here directly by email, but are only doing this to look like they are acknowledging the trust pilot complaint. In actual fact they are ignoring any complaints correspondence to their head office team. I have been waiting for a response for weeks regarding a promised refund that was never received and when they reply on here they say discuss over email and then never reply by email. I’ve waited 6 weeks to have this resolved and no one from go daddy will respond or acknowledge. Namecheap - I demand transparency; please reply to my email I sent on 20/2 on here and not promise to send me an email that you have no intentions of following up on. Lies lies lies

This website is a fraud, my organization contacted this website to be a host for our website Al-Mushahid Initiative which we pay him annually after five yrs of been our host and refuse to redesign our website, we contacted another website host and called this man to transfer all our data to our new host. Instead of doing that as we all agreed he went and put our organization website for sell on Namecheap I want to tell you that it will never be well with you, your generation will never see anything good until you return Al-Mushahid Initiative website to us the rightful owners because we didn't own a kobo we always renew the annual pay

I found it simple to purchase a domain with HIPAA-compliant email, and to arrange a meeting with the web design team. Cost for all this, with one year of website support for a new teletherapy practice, is running about $3k. I need an additional HIPAA-compliant patient records app, which the Namecheap team will integrate with the website wraparound. Some of these platforms offer do-it-yourself web-building, which might be an inexpensive alternative. When the website is fully constructed and functional, I will be better able to determine whether hiring skilled web designers was a good decision. For now, I'm appreciating that I have professional input, and that they keep me from stalling out before I even get started.

Update: Tom with Namecheap was able to process our refund for our unused services. We appreciate that he was able to do this which will enable us to support more cancer patients in the future. We run a non-profit and had Namecheap help us with the original web site. The site was difficult for us to maintain so we changed to a different, cheaper platform. Namecheap charged us by auto renewal for 2 years in advance for services we are no longer using. We have requested a refund and they refused to even offer us a refund for the unused future months. On one of the subscriptions, Namecheap used an expired card to renew our services. Our non-profit helps cancer patients, so we will be able to help less patients because Namecheap refuses to give us a refund for services we are not using.

I absolutely do not recommend it. Namecheap STEALS domains. After buying a domain, he cancels the purchase under a false pretext and offers to buy this domain for a huge price.

The worst cheaters in the world. They will just buy other companies, open forced accounts for you and then steal domains and money from you. Their systems are crap. Don't work with this company. I'm suing them.

GoodGo daddy is an excellent site for buying domains at an excellent price. I also feel that it is great for selling domains and auctions to really straightforward.Bad Sadly, I have had issues with the main purchases being automatically renewed one domain was purchased five times and wouldn’t stop. I had to phone the customer services who seem to be based abroad on the weekends and they couldn’t help nor could the team on WhatsApp or social media I did speak to Mark 2242 who tried to resolve the issue, but ended up taking a payment over the phone which I hadn’t authorised, he then told me he couldn’t help me because he was about to finish for the day, but he would phone me back the next day. He never did, and ignored all the emails that I sent him as well which is completely unacceptable Luckily, I then spoke to somebody called Ethan who listened to my issue and took the time to resolve it in a professional and timely manner. I was extremely satisfied with the service by Ethan, and would certainly recommend him. Saved me claiming the money back from my bank and all of the hassle that comes with itOverall, I would say the experience was stressful and I hope to never have that again and I hope that go daddy and mark can learn from thisUPDATE IN RESPONSE TO THE COMMENT FROM GO DADDY- I did not authorise the payment please listen to the phone call as I do not consent. - I am still missing half of the money so not all payments have been refunded? I am waiting another week before issuing a chargeback on the payments - please ensure this is done - if the agent had every intention of calling me back why didn’t he within the 3 days and ignore my emails?

This company is selling domain ,, fivola.com". That site is big scam. They stole lot money from lot of people, and if ,,Namecheap" is selling this domain, they are also responsible for that scam. I have plenty evidence from conversation with people who was working with that scam and also pictures of sended payments to there's accounts on ,,Binance". They disappear for few months, and now is first time that I see this again. Now when they are back I can finally send all evidence to police.

I already knew Namecheap's reputation wasn't great, but after spending over five days trying to update the nameservers on a domain, I’ve had enough. I was passed around to four different chat technicians, none of whom were able to offer any meaningful help. Their only solution was 'wait 24 hours, and it will work'—which of course, didn’t solve anything. The customer support is nonexistent, and the support team seems completely ineffective. Any other host would have fixed this issue in 2 minutes on chat. I highly recommend staying away from Namecheap.

Just terrible...I tried to migrate my email account from Namecheap to something else. Their IMAP server would refuse connection despite having the correct email, password and port settings, as provided by their AI chatbot. I log in for customer support and wait 15 minutes - no biggie. I speak with the customer service rep for a bit and feel like I am getting nowhere. They are discussing saving the emails to a file, which doesn't strike me as useful as I am trying to migrate between two web-based clients. I point this out and they said that I can update a setting in Outlook365 to facilitate the transfer. I ask where the setting is and I get nothing back. I am waiting for a response when they ask:"Just checking in, please reply to let us know you are still here."I respond "Still here". They then said "Looks like you may have stepped away. No problem, we'll be here to help when you respond."I reply again: "I am still present"Only to get:Thank you for chatting with Namecheap. We're experiencing higher than normal volumes. Hang in there. Your estimated wait time is 5 minutes.I literally had to start over from scratch with a new agent.Despite this, we couldn't get the problem resolved. I spent another 45 minutes working with a new agent trying to get the issue sorted out and they absolutely cannot transfer emails. Eventually I gave up, asked them to delete the email account so I can move on with my life. Most of the stuff there was not hyper important, but it's still frustrating to say the least.I already wanted to leave due to poor pricing and the fact they could not actually do what I needed them to do in terms of hosting a custom webpage. This was just a fun experience on the way out.I would suggest ANYONE that isn't Namecheap.

Absolutely horribe customer service and tech support - I've been with Namecheap for OVER 25 YEARS AND I'M QUITTING THEM ASAP. They LIE about everything and their tech support is in the Phillipines and run by people who can't speak English hardly at all. NEVER EVER DO ANYTHING WITH Namecheap.COM.

Great for buying domains, but in my experience it's not worth paying for any of the other stuff they try to sell you, like "domain protection" or Microsoft 360 (you can use a custom domain with pretty much any free email provider like gmail).

Terrible. If you are using this for any type of business, don't.Service over the last year has been awful, especially in terms of email, and various website image issues. Temperamental is word of the day. Emails seem to have disappeared at the moment.Looking online, they have become extremely expensive compared to other providers. Now on phone for over 30 minutes on hold.
