I’ve been a customer since the 90s. All of a sudden they wanted to charge for emails. They said it’s because there’s new technology associated with emails. I would never use that technology. I just wanted a freaking email. They wanted to charge something like $4.99 a month. There’s so many places that give you a free email. I am not a business, just an individual. Ridiculous They do not value customer loyalty. And, I have a few URLs for sale. They sold one without my consent or knowledge. I saw that someone was using it. I was gonna sue them, but they took it down right away. Ridiculous.

As so many companies go to AI, which I guess is fine for ordinary questions, Namecheap still has knowledgeable staff answering phones. The person who helped me had been there for 10 years. Not only did he diagnose my problem quickly, but he was also able to suggest a lower cost solution, and he was able to implement it while we were on the line so everything was up and running by the end of a fairly short call.

Instead I waited for more than an hour on hold listening to that redundant music. That's one hour and 32 minutes wasted today.
