I chose Namecheap because they are well known and I assumed the support would be great which is the most important thing especially since the website builder is a self build software. Their webchat support workers are horrendous, anytime I speak to them they do not know their way around the software, they tell you they have to go away and read the guide pdfs to find the information and when they come back its usually the wrong information or they don't understand the issueThey tell me they don't know if my product has a such and such a feature or setting. I do not understand how they do not know this information when they have access to the site. One webchat support told me what I wanted to do was impossible but when I rang the helpline number they had it done for me in a few minutes. If you need help always ring the actual helpline phone number and do not waste your time with webchat. Just to mention, most of the support over the phone is great however I had one lady who was incompetent and a had a terrible manner, really showed how much she hated her job. She told me, for my issue, my only option was to rebuild all my pages but when I rang for a second opinion they told me there is an actual issue in the code and they have to re-sync my whole website. If I had not rang a different support worker I would have wasted so much more time. This type of support is just not acceptable so be aware of this if your deciding to go with Namecheap.

I was having issues troubleshooting the Authenticator app access codes for almost 4 days. I tried everything even called Microsoft support and after 3 hours the phone line dropped out. I contacted go daddy via the support team and was greeted by a very warm and reassuring voice in the name of Prakash. He was faultless throughout my entire call which lasted almost two hours. He reassured me throughout the entire process step by step and we were able to get me logged in to all of my accounts again so I can now run my small business efficiently again! Prakash was calm collective and patient throughout and his level of customer service was second to none. Thankyou for your persistence today I really appreciate your time. Prakash is none other than an asset to the go daddy support team!

We are starting a commercial cleaning business and needed a simple and easy to maintain website. We mostly use it as a digital portfolio with pictures of our cleaning and our key selling points as well as a contact form. I am more skilled than average but by no means an expert when it comes to tech and the process was a breeze. The background stuff that makes the site function correctly was more difficult, but their customer service has never let us down. We just called them again and they made a 2 hour problem into a 15 minute problem.

Namecheap customer service is the best and it is the reason why I have been with them for over 13 years now. Yes, other places might be cheaper but when you really need help? that is when you will realize that no other company beat Namecheap, when it comes to excellent customer service and dedication to help customers get result and resolve whatever issue on hand. Namecheap is great and I am not thinking of leaving them years and years down the road why?. Answer, there is no reason to search when everything is going great.

The worst domain service ever. My domains were not set to auto renewal but renewed by go daddy and payment was deducted from my account. After some hours I contacted the customer service and asked for refund and they said refund is issued you will get the amount back in your account within 4-5 days and now more than 1 month has gone they are saying this script again and again with 4-5 days etc. More interesting fact they even do not pick up call from that number from domain refund has been requested. Never use the service of Go daddy this is a useless company that uses people credit cards and scam people. Thanks.

I phoned with a simple query on how to add something to my free website, and what followed was a 45 minute hard sell to get me to upgrade. They were using scare tactics, saying my website could be deleted at any moment, and without notice. Even when I quoted a paragraph from the Go Daddy frequently asked section on their own website, that stated your free website would remain active and free for as long as you wanted, as long as it was not inactive for a year. They still tried to scare me into upgrading to a package and using guilt, saying I was lucky to be using it for free. I did point out that I got to use it for free and they got to use me to advertise their business. So it was a win win, they were not doing me a favour. I then asked the customer service advisor if they got a financial kick back if I agreed to upgrade and they said yes, so say no more !! I then contacted the online chat to clarify and they tried to do the same thing!!! I said I wanted to complain and was given an email that was allegedly his managers (could have been anyone) and not the grievance email address for actual complaints. Customer services seem very corrupt!!
