Operating click bait tactics in many countries.Thanks for your reply Tom, if I search your site and find a domain name that says it will cost 0.01c for the first year and 79.99 each for years 2 and 3 then that is what I expect to pay. I did not expect to add it to my cart and find it is actually $28,000 to buy.As per the relevant legislation in my country you are obliged to sell it at the advertised price, otherwise your company is guilty of false advertising.This is black and white click bait.

We needed to change who we had our domain and web hosting with due to the ISP we were using changing there product line up.My Wife and I were able to successfully transfer our Domains and web hosting over to Namecheap ourselves which was great. The pricing is comparable to where we came from but as it transpires the product that Namecheap provides is far superior and as a result we are much happier with what we are getting.Recently Namecheap representatives have been in contact to discuss areas that we could further benefit within our existing spend but also to see if there is ares we can expand as well. They have been courteous, friendly and willing to help. Bonus.

I was disappointed that Namecheap charged me for my website when I had to pay for the Domain. It seems that I’m being double charged for the services. You cannot have a website without a domain. You cannot have a domain and not use a website they go hand-in-hand.

Scam company. Take payment then nothing. They will take your domains and then upsell a service to buy your domains back by auction. Definitely a conflict of interest and probably a fraud also.

The company migrated products I don’t use on a 3 year auto renew contract . I contacted them the same month they did it and they said that they was nothing they could do and would not refund me . Terrible , especially as it is a company I have been working with for year . Beware of auto renew or use someone else

I had a problem with a Namecheap managed WordPress hosting, where password reset emails were not being delivered to gmail addresses. The phone agent, Ronnie, logged into my site with me on the phone, and looked at the list of Users and email addresses, sending password reset emails to gmail and non-gmail addresses. Turned out it was a lack of an SPF record. At first he thought the SPF record for the domain was good enough, but the site is actually hosted on a sub-domain, and I told him I had read that sub-domains and domains have their own SPF records. So he added a record for the subdomain, and in propagated within 10 minutes (so I could see it on mxtoolbox.com), and then the password reset emails got delivered.I guess I should add that a few days earlier I had used their text message support to report the same problem, with no success, They don't give you their name (and I didn't ask). But the agent really didn't seem to understand the problem, or how WordPress password reset or spf records work. I only tried the text message support this one time, but I have called tech support a number of times over the years and it's always been an excellent experience. You can get to a real human pretty quickly, they speak English clearly, and they very knowledgeable and helpful.

Never Ever Trust Namecheap !!!My account has been closed and all my Domains on which I have been working for 2 years are on Sale with 10x price. First of all, I got an email that one of my domains has been blocked due to some kind of abuse and that domain was not even hosted on any of the platforms. 0 data Got the abuse as It was having nothing. After 2 minutes I got 5 emails that all of my domains were removed from my account and when I tried to log in to my account It said that my account had been locked !!!!. If there is any issue with a single domain then why did you block the account and make all my domains for sale for almost 10x price? They are just scamming people. When I contacted customer support they generated the ticked and then no response. Every time I contact them the new person provides me the new solution. One says to reset my password. One says to send email to technical team !!!
