Namecheap talk about a sublime support service but the truth is that there support service is a call center in another country with people who does not have the complete control over their English. The waiting time is abnormal long and the technical knowledge is very low. Without trying to understand you they just put you on hold for a very long time. So please be warned and choice wisely. There are much better companies that maybe are a little more expensive but they will give you the support and kindness you deserve. Namecheap is for me a No Namecheap and I hope my review will protect people of making the same mistake as me and that is putting my trust in Namecheap.

Terrible experience, completely moving every service of mine away from Namecheap, they have quadrupled the price for everything and the cherry on top was that today they requested a 80$ fee to renew a .de domain even though it has not expired. They tried to lie that the fee is being imposed from denic.de which is the central registrer but after sending an email to Denic.de. Denic denied that a fee is imposed by them by phone and by email and Namecheap still refuse to remove the 80$ fee.
