This is my first time on Namecheap.com to purchase a domain for my new business. I was not familiar with the website and couldn't find my way to where I need to go. I got on the chat box to get information on how to find the domain page. It took me 45 min to explain to the bot what I was looking for. Dishonest company!! Hikes prices by over 200% at renewal with no warning then offers just a 7 day refund window - so I would not recommend using them unless you are very on it and prepared to renegotiate your prices every single year or get stung.

I always seem to have issues with billing and I've only had my account since August. There's been a couple of occasions where I've been charged twice and when discussion of the refund arises, I'm told that it can't be processed by the advisors, an online form needs to be submitted and can take several weeks to hear back on whether it's approved or not. I have also just had a bill for December where my usual billing of £29.99 has increased to £43 without any notice and was told prices are regularly changing and they apologise for not letting me know in advance. The service is honestly diabolical. I run a small business and couldn't imagine treating valued customers in the same way. It's almost like they are indirectly wanting you to leave?! Not even 6 months in and almost every month there have been some sort of issues.

Automatically migrated my domain from Dan.com when they acquired them.Fine - But then instead of taking one monthly lease payment of $1600~, they took two in one day. I've since had countless phone calls and live support conversations, they say the second payment will get refunded and then nothing happens. Another week passes.They might be a big company, but their support and billing practices are fraudulent at best.Plus, if you're a UK customer, you get charged as they only provide US support phone numbers.And to make that even better, you can only contact their billing department by phone!If you have a choice, avoid.
