I have been a Namecheap customer for 20+ years. Whenever you need support, a phone call is answered by a live person and you need is resolved. Any issue or misstep on either side is corrected.

One of the worst customer services I’ve received in my life, whenever they would not know how to respond they would disconnect the chat. I’ve been chasing a refund for over 4 weeks and I’ve had over 8 chats and each one lasted over 45 minutes with no resolve.. they are untrained and unprofessional. It is evident that the customer service team are always stalling during the chat and trying to leave it for longer to waste time. Would not recommend

Damian, my Namecheap agent was extremely exceptional. His product knowledge was on point, He was kind and extremely patient with me. I am a senior with very little tech knowledge even though I've been with Namecheap since 2005. I was able to make decisions which allowed me to renew and add new products. Extremely satisfied!!!

Namecheap charges for basic features that are free with other providers, like email accounts and SSL certificates. For example, most hosts let you create unlimited email accounts as part of your hosting plan. Here, you pay extra for each one. When my email subscription expired, I wanted to export my emails to another host. Support told me it wasn’t possible unless I renewed the subscription. Ridiculous! I could still access my emails online but wasn’t allowed to transfer them. I ended up figuring it out myself via IMAP because their support was useless.Namecheap is overpriced, outdated, and focused on squeezing every penny out of customers. Look elsewhere for a better service!

The customer care from this company is amazing. Everyone I have interacted with during my website build, social media marketing and p.o.s. activation have been professional and they love their job. Highly recommended!

A few days ago Namecheap rolled out an update to their websites and commerce package. Now contact forms on your website will no longer send comments to the listed email. It sends a notification that you have a comment but you have to go in to Namecheap's website and use their connections. This is one of the stupidest things that they have pulled. I for one I'm starting to look for a new solution. We've been quite happy for the past couple years despite a few minor annoyances. This however is not a minor annoyance, it's an absolute interruption and hijacking of communications between our company and our customers. This is unacceptable. All I got from customer service when I brought this issue up was lip service. I'm not very surprised, but I am deeply disappointed

Update, i raised a complaint with the grievance officer for Namecheap on 14th September, never had a reply, I have now sent 14 emails (and checked am sending to correct address but no reply or acknowledgement), I have raised my complaint on both Twitter and Facebook, no reply. As a last resort I tried leaving a comment on here in the hope that Namecheap would address my complaint, left comment on here 13th October and had the reply " please bear with us, one of our team will respond to that complaint." never heard anything, left another comment on 7th November "Sorry for the delays in our team getting back to you. I am sending out a request for more information via Trustpilot, please provide your customer number and email address. I can then locate your complaint and get this addressed for you." sent all the info but after 6 weeks still no response from Namecheap. Namecheap are good when you dont have a problem but if a problem arises you will be ignored unless they think they have an opportunity to sell you an upgrade, I have no doubt I will get a reply to this promising to resolve but I am not confident, I will however continue to provide feedback on here so that people can judge themselves if Namecheap resolve problems, if you are thinking of moving to Namecheap stop and think, will you be ignored as well ???
