I have been with Namecheap for 11 years. But 4 days ago I bought their deluxe hosting service. This deluxe service is a total pile of rubbish and couldn’t do what I could on a NAS drive at home. After 4 days of my customers not getting emails I spoke to over 10 different agent for well over 12 hours and not one fix applied worked. I was told I have to upgrade the service. There are hidden costs and included products all have to be renewed. Agent were more interested in selling me addon than fixing the. Issue.I asked to speak to their complaints department or customer services team and was advised Namecheap has neither. I just had to explain 11 hours of issues to the like 12th engineer who decided to forward me to another. Engineer applying fixes promised me we fixed it wait 48 hours and it’ll work. Like hell it does.Turns out the free 3 emails I get aren’t free after 3 months and they signed me up for auto renewal even though I was NOT using them.Agents blame 3rd party providers even though I could prove every thing work on my own bedroom solution.Basically over priced, no support, hidden fees and very aggressive push to invest in more expensive services to fix problems.SSL doesn’t even work for things like PayPal even though the plan includes SSL that say for me to use SSL with PayPal I have to upgrade to a plan 4x more than I’m paying. This is not fit for purpose and I contact them for them to spec my requirement before they sold me a plan.SHOCKING officially the worst company I have ever had to deal with and after 11 year I will be leaving as soon as I’m able….AVIOD unless you enjoy speaking to 12 people for the same issue. None of my customer have received an invoice in the last 4 days and their support can’t even diagnose the issueShame they have destroyed my long stand trust with them. After 4 days of getting know here and going around in circles there is literally no way I can get them to resolve my issues and they don’t care once they have you money. Hidden fees make this nothing more than a scam!I have just been sent an email asked me to prove this is a genuine review (which it is) but the link in the mail to justify my review gives me a bad gateway error when clicked and I have 3 day to answer questions on the end of a link that goes knowhere!!!!!! Trust pilot please sort this out the review is genuineI believe the stress of this put me in an ambulance yesterday and 26 hours in hospital with atrial fibulation. I can’t prove your support put me in hospital but I would put money on it being the trigger. I don’t need to waste any more time trying to get your engineers to resolve any of the issues they fell short of trying to fix.I have since moved my site to my own server and everything that was broken using your hosting services is working on mine with no change. I’m somewhat an amateur at hosting but I managed to get it working off a sub £200 server on my home network with little effort. Namecheap as experts should have had no issues resolving the problems only happening while using your services.I’ve been out of hospital for 1 hour now and do not want to risk any further stress causing a relapse. Took 26 hours to get my heart back to a normal rhythm and now on drugs for the rest of my live. Again I have no proof to blame my experience dealing with your support as the cause, but that’s my belief. Regardless the stress I suffered from dealing with your 10+ agents over 4 day was SIGNIFICANT!
