Having chatted to two agents over chat, I then had to phone Namecheap to get any resolution.PLUS:Agent understood what I wanted, was as helpful as he could be and patient.MINUS:There were several minute gaps while he had to ask colleagues (lack of training?).Also an extra charge for a product that was included in my package, and could be repeated so I buy a multi year package with Namecheap and then you introduce extra charges during the period when you take components of the package I paid for and charge me again for themSo a warning to anyone considering buying a package from Namecheap that you may be charged again for components of the package you bought. Also I was quoted multiple prices from $24 per year to $24 per month for the functionality that was included.

I got a good service

I have spent two days trying to dig through WordPress's "help" articles to get the information I needed to connect my Namecheap domain to my WordPress site. I was not able to find the information I needed to fix the problem I was having, frankly, I ended up more confused than before I started. When I finally had proven my perusal time sufficient from WordPress, I was finally directed to an agent on WordPress chat. Uggh! The chat was so patronizing! I finally got the information I needed to connect my domain to the WordPress site. I contacted Namecheap to connect the site on their end. I LOVE Namecheap'S CUSTOMER SERVICE! I am just going to say this again! I LOVE Namecheap'S CUSTOMER SERVICE!, I TALKED with a competent PERSON. After only a two-minute wait, Allen (they should give him a raise and promote him) got on the phone, and talked to me like was an adult (not a two-year-old) and, within 3 minutes he had identified and understood what was going on, explained it to me, connected the domain to the site, and told me what to expect and the time limit to expect it in. He is my new hero. It is funny how my frustration from the problem went out the window in three minutes with a service representative who takes the time to understand the problem from your perspective and doesn't patronize or say premade empathetic phrases: JUST GETS THE JOB DONE AND MAKES SURE IT IS WORKING. I wish I would have bought my site through them as well. Namecheap gets it. If you want customers that return and are loyal. Take the time to earn them. Thank you Namecheap.

I have had my website for a few years, but just subscribed to Marketing Services. There is a learning curve on my part which is expected. However, communication is not as clear cut as I had hoped. I had a question this morning, called in, gave my story. I was told I need to be transferred to another number - I asked if I had to repeat my story - was told no, it would be in the notes. I also asked for the direct line for future, and was told there is none. So I called the 2nd time, repeated my dilemna and was told I need to talk to yet another department. And was given a number to call. 8-(
