I had no idea how to do a website and Chris, my representative from Go Daddy, helped me bundle my donate name and get my site up and running in just a few minutes. Then he showed me how to edit it without needing his help in the future. I’m able to change the words and the pictures add stuff, I’m very technically challenged and he was amazing at explaining everything to me. He has made me a Go Daddy customer for life and I can’t believe how easy it was. I had previously tried Wix and Squarespace, which charged a lot of money and couldn’t get anywhere no one had a phone number or a chat. They say they help you and it’s easy but it’s not. It was so hard on those Websites and Go Daddy made it so easy thanks to Cris. Thank you, Go Daddy for actually being honest with your advertising.

I had to communicate with five representatives. The first didn't know how to help me, the second, didn't bother to read what I was messaging; he wanted to jump right into selling me the wrong product. Then I tried by phone, and the person sounded disinterested, and finally fell asleep or something, after five minutes I hung up. The next person gave me misinformation about the plan he sold me. That added to the price later. The last person explained everything, and got me set up.

Live phone technical support on Namecheap is great. Chat/message support is worthless and a waste of time. Chat/message technicians treat all customers the same as if they are completely computer illiterate.

If you are a small business, use these people at your peril. They have no idea what you need and will not be able to help you. If you are a large business and can afford to keep a few people employed full time to constantly call and monitor what they are not doing for you then maybe they’re a good fit.
