RIDICULOUS COSTS. If you do not renew your subscription on the 20th, 600% EXTRA costs will be charged. Even if your subscription has NOT yet expired, you still have to pay 600% EXTRA. Support is also very slow, the AI ??bot does not want to connect you.

I do not even know what TrustPiolet is so I can not truly judge it.

The agent actually pretended that he could not hear me and disconnected the call. I am upset with Go Daddy and sharing my frustration. I guess that is not important to Go Daddy or its agents. I have my website site on auto renew and it did not auto renew and was about to cancel even though I have an valid credit card. This is not the first time. Go Daddy needs to get it together. TERRIBLE!!!!

So they closed my account for "risk factors" even tho i provided all the information that they requested to prove my business is legit. I did nothing wrong. i don't understand why they closed it.

At this point, after 20 years of being a customer, Namecheap has lost all of my business today. I decided to try out their website builder tool and I was blown away by how difficult it is to work with. It has been two days, and I am still trying to figure out how to upgrade to remove Namecheap ADS from a website I have paid for. Even after chatting with 2 agents, it is still pending because they don't understand how to do it either. I'm in a chat right now with an agent, and they said they're checking with their team on how to do it. Seriously?Update: They just quoted me $971.35 to remove ads for 5 years. I wish I could give 0 stars. The price of Namecheap at this point feels like a ripoff. Imagine having to pay $100+ per website for security features that should be standard because you care about your customers and their users. With this newest website, I'm already over $200 for a 1 page website. Insane. The new UI on the Namecheap overview pages is horrible and finding the most simple features requires talking to their AI chat bot. I also notice a lot of new reviews for Namecheap, and most of them have nothing to do with Namecheap or they sounds like ChatGPT. I 100% believe they are not real.

Sorry the company has gone downhill in the last years

CRAZY SHOPINGS
I recently tried to purchase a domain through Namecheap and was left extremely frustrated by their pricing as it would change as I'm trying to make payment and customer support practices. I was dealing with a situation where the same domain was being shown in two different currencies during my checkout process, which created confusion about the real cost. To make matters worse, the price changed not once, but twice, during the transaction.I reached out to their online support for some clarification. Instead of directly addressing my concerns, the representatives repeatedly avoided my main question, giving vague responses and telling me there was nothing they could do about the problem. It seemed as if selling the domain under inconsistent conditions was more important to them than resolving my issue. I eventually managed to get the problem sorted out on my own, but only after a lot of unnecessary hassle. (i gave up and when to crazydomains awesome straight forward no screw around with costs, and I didn't even need the online help lol)If you're looking for a straightforward and transparent domain buying experience, you might want to consider alternative providers. Namecheap's chaotic pricing and lack of proactive support left much to be desired.

I was not reimbursed for being double billed for months that I had already paid for with my emails. I filed a formal complaint, not once but on 3 separate occasions and called in to have this resolved. Not one of the reps has resolved the issue and issued a credit on my account. I am absolutely FURIOUS given that I have spent thousands of dollars with Namecheap over the years, including being a member of their 'discount domain club'. I would like a member of the team to reach out ASAP and assist with resolving this as the regular channels do not seem to be working.

Prices are very high, sales people are always there to upsell you regardless you need or dont need.one has to bargain to get discount.

Every month you have to remind them to recharge and no response back from them!!

Absolutely horrific experience. The staff lack knowledge of their own products, websites, or anything to do with digital marketing. It took her over 30 minutes to verify me as she didn't know what delegate access was. She asked me to spell delegate because she had never heard the word before. The customer service rep then tried to tell me that Google Analytics Tracking Ids expire. When I told her that was not true and asked to speak to someone knowledgeable, I was put on hold and no one ever answered the call. It's been hours and I am still waiting.

We had an autorenewal mistakenly forgotten on 10 years instead of one. The instant we received notification of payment we contacted customer support to ask that this be amended to 1 year with refund of the rest. They first lied, saying that this was not possible with ICANN (which is absolutely untrue), then said this was not possible according to their policies - when faced with their own refund policy where grace period is written in black and white, they then answered that they would not amend but only cancel the order completely, but this would automatically mean I would need to surrender ownership of my 15 year old, active website. This is written nowhere on their terms. This behaviour is apalling, bossy and unlawful behaviour. I have now opened a dispute with paypal.Do not register any domain with them. A company that does not even meet the minimum requirements of respecting the law or even its own policies can in no way be trusted.

Since my over 15years experience in web development, Namecheap is the worst experience and whole bad days, i regret ever given it a consideration, they have steady plan to extort you, for this shithole company, packages are inconsiderably too expensive compare to others, so many bottleneck around their hosting plans and technically poor, to make it worst is a very bad customer care.... every basic features are tagged with exorbitant prices.I will never again give it a thought with you guyz and will never recommend even my worst enemy.PLS DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, TIME AND RESOURCES ON THEM. YOU WILL REGRET IT!

HORRIBLE!For 2 years I have struggled with Namecheap, and I got nowhere. My DNS (which THEY have set), keeps on changing and every-time i realise to late that I dont get emails, and losing so much business. Then they say they fixed it, and 2 weeks later the same issue again, and this happen all the time. Worse than this, I have to sit for hours with them on the phone, because either they dont understand English or the piece of paper they call "trouble-shooting scripts" doesnt have this issue, in other words they dont know how to help. For this reason they keep on diverting the conversation to something else. Then eventually, after another 30 min, I get through to a "Senior Specialist" but OMG, they are blaming me for changing the DNS, and this while I dont even know where it is stored. lastly, as mentioned in other post, they dont even know how to spell "Customer Service". Do your homework WELL before you decide to go with Namecheap.
