The worst ever! I bought domain with email. Email was ok for one week after that I coudnt login. I contacted the support they told me they will solve within max 72 h. After one week I informed them I dint receive any message or call, the current agent told me I don't have account with them. I was shocked. I checked my original email for purchases to see if im dreaming. And I found my purchase history with Namecheap! I will escalate this till they close your website I promise u this! Just because of manipulation!

We had a huge dilemma concerning a disconnect between our domain and our website, but we were not sure how to fix it on our own and it happened on the day before a major holiday! Lucky for us Mr. Diogo was available to help us while explaining every step along the way. He was patient, spoke very clearly and he was extremely efficient. We are not so 'tech savvy' but he made everything seem so easy. Thanks again for your help!

costumer service is absolutely terrible. I have used the chat on the site for three days now, and talked with at least 3 different people, and somehow my account has been lost in their system and not where it was when I left it.

the following is that of my opinion and understanding.. i paid for Namecheap's firewall, and managed ssl.the firewall create various server errors and in return i potentially lost tons of backlinks, traffic and rankings due to this. Once I remove the firewall, I started to regain them all back.Upon or about renewal of my managed ssl cert (managed ssl san 10), all of my domains were removed (minus the main one) and it appeared to reset and become fresh on my Namecheap's profile page, once again I potentially lost tons of links, rankings and traffic due to this.

Just had a great experience with Go Daddy online customer service. I wish I had called them a month ago, I would have solved this issue and not had the extra worries I had for a day longer!

WTF

There are some hidden charges too.. So think twice before you buy them.. Don’t direct debit them.. or they might do!!Think Twice. Or you are stuck!

They are expensive and constantly spam products for you to buy. Their web pages for managing your site are really bad, and it's very difficult to remove your account. I moved all my domains to Cloudflare, where you get free services that cost a lot on Namecheap.I lowered my rating to one star. It's been four days since I contacted support, and my account still can't be deleted.

i was with Namecheap for 12 years till my web designer told me they were scamming you. i was spending 650 dollars more on Namecheap then there competitors that are asking way less. you should never have to pay for a SSL certificate and never pay for emails either. go daddy took that money from me when i should got it for free. i saved that money by leaving.

Namecheap.com controls my email. I paid them and jumped through every hoop to meet their requirements to be able to access my email accounts. After they gave me access to my email accounts I was pleased with the results. However, the emails all disappeared before my eyes after a few minutes and I never got a chance to read them. I was promised a phone call from Namecheap but never received it. Namecheap appears to be a scam. They have my money and my emails.

I’ve had my website on Namecheap since July 2024 so I’m a relatively new customer. All was going well in the last few months, I could access what I needed to and add parts to my website that I wished. I reached out to customer service once within that time and the person I spoke to was wonderful and really helped. I then today reached out to customer service again and the man that I spoke to today wasn’t very helpful and kept trying to sell me things, I stated multiple times that wasn’t the reason I was on there nor did I want to purchase any additional extras. He kept pushing to sell I then quite bluntly stated I just wanted help with one thing, he then listened and gave me the information I needed and I asked if I had to pay for that, I was given a very confusing answer, basically ending with yes I would. He then added on that my plan was discontinued that I only purchased in July and now need to pay for a new one. He then told me that I hadn’t created my website and more rubbish, I then stated that I do have a website it’s been up and running since July and it does work. He then confused me a lot telling me that it didn’t and more, I was very adamant that it was working and is created, he then decided to tell me that my website was working (which I already knew). I then ended the conversation as all he tried to do was sell me things and confused me a LOT.

Purchased their $70. brokerage service to try to buy a domain that was "parked"....The broker Tim advised I offer $1000 - $5000 for the domain-I instructed to offer $1000 and no more since I don't want to reinforce this method of domain hostage holding. Only after was I informed if my offer was accepted I would be required to pay an additional 20% brokerage fee. Blindsided (which I do not favor)- I instructed broker Tim to cancel the transaction immediately as I don't take kindly to being charged fees I did not agree to upfront. Crickets of course. I have severed my relationship with Namecheap.com, cancelled domains, and removed my credit card. I have also become weary of their auto-payments options turning back on frequently after I cancel them. They have become untrustworthy.

Great customer service! Lousy website! Unfortunately; I had password issues so I decided to cancel the service on the same day.

I have been a Namecheap customer for about 25 years. A few years ago they were amazing, great to deal with and Support staff were effcient and expert. Now its the complete opposite. Contacting Support is a frustrating, highly annoying, time consuming process. The system is totally broken. Expect to take hours (literally) get very annoyed and have to call back again in the next few days, and go through it all over, because the fix they promised wasn't fixed. I can't take it any more and actively looking for a new provider. Its a shame. The Company was great and now its Trash.

They are sneaky. Careful what you search for, they buy it and "broker" a deal to get it for you. 90% of the time they own it. A lot of there good reviews read like ok generated AI.AVOID.
