I recently purchased a domain from Namecheap and was given a specific date when it would be available in my account. That date has come and gone, yet the support agents appear to have no idea what’s happening. Each time I reach out, I’m given a new estimated date with no real explanation.Making matters worse, the Namecheap website itself feels disjointed and unreliable. Many features don’t seem to work properly, and different sections feel like separate products altogether. For example, I can see the domain under “My Products” but not under the “Domains” tab. There’s even a button to manage DNS settings, but clicking it leads to an error claiming the domain doesn’t exist. Overall, the user experience is frustrating and it’s hard to believe Namecheap maintains such a high rating on Trustpilot. Their support feels outsourced, offering only canned responses with little knowledge or practical help.

You need to update your WooCommerce payment plugin. I've lost a large number of customers lately because the plugin doesn't process their payment at checkout. It just throws "Error Processing Payment" without explaining what is the freaking issue! And don't give me the excuse that your plugin handles errors so POORLY because of "security". If other payment apps can handle errors more efficiently, you should be able to do that as well.I think Namecheap Payments has a great potential. I've been using it for two of my ecommerce stores since last year and it was performing ok until recently. I also like the easy of use of the customers dashboard of Namecheap payment web app. However, you do need to give some attention to your WooCommerce payment plugin. Since I started using it I've never seen the plugin being updated. Looks like you've abandoned it?Like I said, it has a great potential and I will use it again and update this review when you fix the plugin.NOTE: I can see that you are not answering negative reviews, only INVITE feedback, which coincidentally are ALL 4 or 5 star reviews... Fake?

I've been trying to get a refund for a 3-year domain renewal on a business I closed. After 1.5 months waiting for an answer billing declined because I didn't call within 5 days of the renewal (I called within 8). I've offered to pay for 1 of the 3 years because I realize I messed up. I can't stand auto-renewals for this reason. Here's my OOPR #61906 Namecheap! You suck.

I have been a Namecheap customer since 2013. I am unable to sign into my Namecheap 365 Email Account on my PC. I was on hold waiting for Namecheap's Customer Service 50 minutes, someone came on, stayed on the line with me 5 minutes, then returned me to hold. Total hold time so far, 1 hour 58 minutes, 7 seconds. I have authenticator on my mobile phone and the sign in attempts on my PC are treating me as if I want to sign on my phone. This is the worst customer service I ever had with Namecheap. Tried calling last night to no avail. Problem not resolved. So, I finally hung up!

the worst for emails in the world. A disastrous, complicated business email login that will just randomly vanish from your computer, nobody will help you to get back in when you can't access the account. Customer support is horrible, to say the least. I HATE THIS COMPANY. You should never travel while being their customer who pays and pays and pays. You will lose access to your entire business and nobody will help you. They do not even listen to what you explain over and over

Renewal cost for my domain was 54 USD. Google domains cost 12 USD. I have been using Namecheap for over 20 years and their customer support refused to help in any way, offer a reduced price, allow me to extend for part of the year, etc. They basically did not care at all.

Beware of this company. Once you sign up they will never stop taking money. Cancelled last year and they are still stealing money from my bank account this year. Their "customer service rep" just laughed and said "you can try and take us to court if you like, but we have so many customers we don't care".

I asked for assistance getting my site live. The rep tried to sell me a plan for $839 that he said would get it going. Then after calling him out, he said they just had to re-publish my site, which he had already done while talking to me. Then he continually added outrageous plans to my shopping cart. These are crooks.

Dealing with Namecheap’s customer support is like entering a never-ending loop of scripted nonsense, empty apologies, and blatant upselling. You don’t get actual help—you get a carefully crafted corporate runaround designed to waste your time until you either give up or spend more money.First, you start with a simple request—maybe a small discount or help with a service you’ve used for YEARS—and what do you get? Fake sympathy. They hit you with the "I truly understand your concern" line while doing nothing to actually address it. It’s all about appearing helpful without actually being helpful. Then comes the policy excuse. Instead of giving you a real answer, they pull out the classic "Unfortunately, our policies limit what we can do." Policies, huh? Funny how those policies always work in their favor and never in yours. They act like they’d love to help, but oh no, their hands are tied! When you push back? They bring in the supervisor. But here’s the catch—the supervisor isn’t actually there to help either. They’re just another script-reading robot who repeats the exact same things with slightly fancier words. "I’ve reviewed everything, and I’m afraid that’s not possible." No actual review happened. They just scrolled up, saw that you weren’t falling for the nonsense, and decided to stall even more. And if you really don’t back down? They either ghost you or end the chat. They’d rather disconnect than admit they’re just there to manipulate customers into spending more. Because let’s be real—Namecheap doesn’t reward loyalty. You could be with them since 1991, 30+ YEARS, and they’d still treat you like a random nobody. But if you were a new customer? Oh, suddenly they have discounts, deals, and endless incentives. The bottom line? Namecheap doesn’t value customers—they value profits. Their support isn’t designed to help; it’s designed to delay, distract, and upsell. They don’t care about you unless you’re handing over money. So next time you’re dealing with their “support,” just remember: you’re not talking to real people who care—you’re talking to a sales team disguised as customer service.-----edt not even a email from Namecheap bunch of frauds

Great platform with fast servers, but expensiveNamecheap offers excellent performance and reliable servers, making it a great choice for those managing a single domain. However, if you're a domain investor, the high pricing can be a major drawback. While the platform is user-friendly and well-established, the costs add up quickly for those handling multiple domains.

Namecheap are super dodgy, for so many reasons... Let me count the ways...If you want a domain name, plan first. Don't look it up! Under NO circumstances should you look it up. If you look it up, do it ONCE. This will increase the price on your next visit, which should be when you buy it. If you look it up again, the price will go up again. And again... Until they buy it and park it, hiding it behind Domains by Proxy LLC. THEN they will offer to "Broker" a sale with the "owner". When you pay the brokerage fee, they will ask for a minimum /max you're willing to pay. DON'T DO IT! Leave that field blank, please! Apparently by this stage, your $19 domain name is now worth $10,000 to $25,000!!I am waiting to see what number they come back with from the "owner" of the domain name. ie how much they want to fleece me.Let's see what they say... Wish me luck!

Terrible customer service. The website builder is a joke. Forget about asking a question. I paid up front for 2 years, never even published my site because the website builder is so bad. After a few weeks I tried to cancel and get a refund and they won't issue any kind of refund. So they just took $390. Their customer service has gone downhill and is not what it used to be.

Thank you, Namecheap, for “reserving” the domain name that was originally available for around $15. Now, for the “modest” price of $120, you generously offer me the chance to buy it. Truly a customer-oriented business! It’s disappointing to see this kind of practice instead of providing real value. I won’t be purchasing anything from you, and I’d advise others to stay away as well.

Dear Sir/Madam,I have been waiting for my refund request, associated with ticket number 3462696700R, for nearly two months. However, I have noticed that the process has not been completed yet.My bank has confirmed that no refund has been processed. Additionally, ?yzico has stated that the refund process has not even been initiated. It appears that my refund has not been processed at all.I kindly request that the amount I paid be refunded to me as soon as possible. I also expect an explanation regarding the reason for the delay. Otherwise, I will have to escalate this matter to the relevant authorities.I look forward to your prompt response.Best regards,

Do not trust them. Namecheap is one of the worst hosting providers out there. They have incompetent support staff from india. Please spend your money on any other hosting provider. They will eventually dry out
