Namecheap is always extremely helpful and patient even with novice webpage administrators like me. Greatly appreciated and the annual fees for the service is fair and affordable.

Horrible tech support. Can never duplicate the issue on their end so they can't fix. Escalate to upper tier tech support and wait and wait on the line and then the call gets dropped. Moved one of my websites that was consistently getting hacked and problem resolved, with no added products to buy.

DO NOT PURCHASE DOMAIN HERE! Their customer service is incredibly unreliable and inconsistent. My domain expired, and I was initially told it could be recovered within 24 hours. The next day, another representative said it would actually take five days and cost $80. I paid the fee, only to be refunded the next day with a message saying the domain couldn't be recovered after all. This miscommunication cost me significant advertising revenue. It seems like their support team lacks proper training, and the whole experience was extremely frustrating and unprofessional. Definitely not recommended. ??

Worst scammers on the planet. They are now deleting domains after the registration period runs out and before the deadline for renewal without redemption runs out claiming in their notification emails that the domain registrant has requested deletion of the domain name. "Here's what you deleted or canceled today:"Even worse, they make it virtually impossible to transfer the domain name to a less expensive domain registrar -- they are one of the most expensive -- if you have an email account associated with the domain as they have made it almost impossible to download the emails in the email account first. Also the upsells. Also, their sign in processes and account verification processes, imposed without consent or consultation with end users, are asinine. They must employ people just to come up with new and unique ways to screw their customers over.If they still manage to exist 100 years from now, Namecheap will be the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation.

You need more Cory's. I have spoken to many tech support people and no one but Cory was able to solve my problem. He was so patient and knowledgeable that I almost felt sorry for his patience. I feel very lucky that I got him for my support issue. Thank you Cory

I had been working all morning with two different accounts. I had already purchased the domain but since it was on a different day due to a screwup, I had the old account number, I was just about to through my hands up and forget it when I finally called and actually talked to a person that spoke ENGLISH. Costa discovered I was working with an empty account. He walked me through every step. Thank you Costa.

I purchased a premium WordPress website design, hosting, and marketing service package with social media ads, along with a photoshoot, from this company. Despite clear promises at the time of purchase, none of the services were delivered as agreed.I was told I would receive a website draft with the opportunity for multiple revisions prior to publication. Furthermore, I was explicitly informed that marketing and social media services would not begin until after the website was published. What I actually received:A first draft of a website, which lacked any completed revisions despite multiple discussions with representatives. No usable website. No version was ever finalized or published. No marketing or social media service was initiated, nor could it have been, as there was no completed website to promote.Over several weeks, I reached out repeatedly, including:Spoke with billing and global support, submitted refund request Spoke with “Jessie” from the Website Design Services team. Was told I’d be contacted within 1–2 business days.Contacted them again due to no follow-up. Was told the refund ticket was updated.Still no contact. I spoke with their Website Design Services department and was eventually called by a Customer Experience Manager, Sebastien.Sebastien refused to issue a refund, even though services were not rendered and a refund was requested within 30 days of purchase. Instead, he offered me an in-store credit, which is entirely unacceptable given the circumstances. To reiterate:No completed or revised websiteNo marketing services renderedNo social media ads launchedNo photoshoot completedNo approval of any servicesNo tangible deliverables providedI have now fully dissolved my relationship with this company and plan to transfer my domain from their hosting server. An in-store credit is not acceptable, and I will not continue doing business with a company that fails to honor basic service agreements.I sincerely hope others avoid the same experience and that this company begins to take accountability for its customer service failures.

I had the pleasure of working with Benedick from Namecheap, and I must say—he did an absolutely outstanding job. His professionalism, efficiency, and genuine willingness to help made the entire experience seamless and stress-free. Benedick went above and beyond to ensure all my needs were met, and his knowledge and patience truly stood out. It’s rare to come across such exceptional service, and I’m incredibly grateful for his support. Namecheap is lucky to have him on the team!

I called to have my facebook account connected to my website and they said the only thing they can do is send a help page which I tried more than ten times or charge me $120 for some one to look at it . I am an IT person and just need questions answered and they do not care they just want more money. Do not ever use them because the tech support even for something like this is useless.

The tech support representative I dealt with was excellent. Overall, I use Namecheap for almost everything. Their pricing and relentless upsell efforts are a little off-putting.
