On my first day using Namecheap, while buying a domain name, I changed my mind about getting the bundle of similar names but could not unselect that choice. Help staff did it for me, then linked my draft webpages to the new domain name.

On May 1, 2024, Namecheap restricted access to their DNS API, almost breaking my website's Let's Encrypt certificates. I manually renewed my certs, set my DNS server to Cloudflare, and transferred my domains to Cloudflare. I then checked and there were four automatically generated free products, two of them being Websites generated by Airo, and the other two being Payments. The Websites were easy to delete, but for the Payments, I had to contact a Guide. After the Payments were deleted, I tried to delete my account, and got an error: "You must delete your products", even though there were no products in My Products. Namecheap is one of the two worst domain registrars ever, the other one being Enom.

Joe was a great representative. He was attentive and professional and went above and beyond offering me services I needed but didn’t know go daddy offered. Great customer service.

I greatly appreciate how easy it is to talk to a real person. Especially when that person is exceedingly knowledgeable, professional and empowered to actually assist/resolve any questions or issues. I am moving all 50+ of our websites/domains to be hosted by Go Daddy because of their accessible & capable associates.

Absolutely appalling customer service. Spent three weeks and spoke to 25 different agents. None of them resolved my issue. Constantly getting disconnected and having to repeat the problem every single time. I would not recommend using Go Daddy.
