I am a web developer, I feel very small when my clients buy hosting from Namecheap. And I wonder why they didn't find a better hosting company? For the past seven years I have been building websites, whenever I have had a problem I have not received good support from them, how are they really such a big company? It is a matter of thought.

Namecheap renewed my subscription and used a payment option that I did not have listed on their site. As they sent the payment to an old, closed bank account, the payment was denied. Instead of checking my payment options and trying again (or contacting me) they had a third company pay the amount off. This company then added a large fee to the amount due. I tried disputing the extra fee, and the company that took over the payment put my account into collections. I'm happy to pay the original amount due but that's not being accepted. I'm extremely disappointed that Namecheap made this error and will not take responsibility.10/30 update - Namecheap - please feel free to call me directly. I'm not sure what additional information you would like. On 9/21 I received a notice from firstsource saying that I made a payment to you and the amount was returned unpaid. Certegy then paid you for the unpaid ACH transaction. When I reached out to Namecheap they told me that I needed to work this out with Certegy. Certegy then submitted a dispute and I was hoping they would connect with you. However, instead my amount due was sold to McCarthy Burgess & Wolff a connection agency. I have always wanted to pay the amount initially due, but not the additional fees.

I purchased a service that was never delivered. Despite reaching out to customer service multiple times, I did not receive accurate or timely information, which ultimately resulted in the loss of clients. After several days without a satisfactory resolution, I decided to cancel the product and request a refund.The refund process was highly inefficient, and I did not receive a full refund, despite the service never being provided. I was informed that I had only 48 hours to request a refund, even though I was repeatedly assured that the services would be activated within that same timeframe—something that never happened. While you are citing your refund policy as a reason to deny a full refund, it seems that your service policy states that services will be activated within the next 48 hours. Since that did not occur, I believe it is unreasonable to retain my payment.
