Go Daddy is an absolute joke the problem is when I enter MY domain name (I purchased from you for $800. ) it comes up for sale for $1999. What gives you the right to sell my name?? I missed a $22.72 payment to you for what I don’t know? You don’t host my website, yet you interrupted it for $22.72? Ok it’s fraud but I can pay that, my site works again, for $1999, But they can’t sell my site , I own it, if I never use it, I still own it. You need to take my site out of your for sale bucket unless I ask you to sell.

I had a domain for 360 days and I wanted to cancel since we didn't use the domain anymore. However, I forgot to cancel the email service that was linked to the domain. After its renewal, I try to cancel it but the platform seems to be using dark patterns and "Something went wrong, please try again later" messages when I try to cancel.Horrible! The sales agent at the beginning of our relationship did a great job selling it to me. However, getting rid of them is a horrible experience. Will not recommend. Go to Hostinger instead!

Websites + Marketing Intl FreeThis is a scam because it's impossible to cancel this service; you have to call by phone for a service we didn't request, and Namecheap is trying to sell it rudely.

Wonderful customer service although the wait was long

My credit card was hacked and they had to give me a new number. Namecheap didn't renew my Auto-Renew domain and I lost it because the number changed, now they want me to pay another $80 to get it back. A huge company like Namecheap and they can't even send me a text message or call me that my domain is going to expire due to a processing error. They said they sent me emails but I have a lot of domains and get a lot of emails. My guess is they put in just enough effort they can say they tried but didn't really want it to renew so they could charge the extra $80 dollars. I'm not impressed and am taking my business and all my domains somewhere else. Thanks for nothing Namecheap, your greedy and your technology is antiquated.

When you want to transfer the domain, it takes 7 days, unlike other platforms that only take hours?? For your information, I am a domain trader, so Namecheap has become a very bad company. I do not recommend it

too many errors and no fixes. A Microsoft message gives an error and says more details but gives you no information ou can use.

I purchased the “self” package to build my own go daddy website. After frustration I called and was sold right away in ease of use, that they increase the SEO, are always there to help ect. Well a month later, still issues with the site and EVERYTHING is an add on, a sales pitch. I can’t even make changes myself to the website unless I pay another $49! It has been frustrating to say the least and I wish I would have gone with just a local individual. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!!! Or get the self package if you are capable to do it yourself, because in the end that’s what you’ll be doing.

I canceled all of my domain in January- in February Namecheap attempted to charge a defunct card- in March they sent the account to collections. Absolutely ridiculous!!In response to the below message. I was called by Cetergy - #27074749 and told I need to pay $69- they asked for my bank account number which I refused to give them. If this is fraud, let me know.

GOD DAMN THIEVES!!!!!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!! They charged my credit card with $380 dollars for a "marketing plan" I never signed up for!!!! When I called they refused to give me a refund and also refused to migrate my website to my new provider. THEY ARE THIEVES. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

think this is an awful company and would not recommend purchasing a domain with them or a email account subscription. My subscriptions auto renewed and I was 25 days out due to being away after the Christmas period celebrating with family. Now im having to pay £80 for a email subscription that I won’t use, and locked into a 12 month contract !!!! No consideration for small businesses but this is what they make the majority of their money off. Disgraceful.

I honestly can’t believe the terrible customer service I have received. I have been with Namecheap for my business website since 2019. They have now decided to charge me £259 this year for renual when I was paying £150-£170. They saying they can’t partially refund me unless I delete the product (which means whole website) and then start again on new plan. They know as a business this would take you ages to recreate a new website and would loose business recreating this. Absolutely terrible service. I will be taking this further.
