Worst company to deal with. Trying to charge me a renewal of $43 per domain. Spent 1 hour 42 minutes trying to get it rectified over the phone. Their customer service is overseas so it is a pain in the butt too. Found out you do not have to renew with them. You can renew with namesilo.com for $8.99. We will never do business with Namecheap again.

My call was picked up quickly. I spoke with an agent who was professional, personable and empathetic. He identified the issue and although we weren't able to fix it on the call, he provided clear directions on next steps.

I would advise everyone not to use Namecheap; their service was appalling. First of all they lost all of my emails from the last 20 years, and then they charged me extra for an SSL certificate without my authorisation. I was then left with no access to my emails and have had to go elsewhere. I cannot get a refund, and I can’t even find a complaints procedure. All I have been offered as compensation is a credit note redeemable against other purchases with Namecheap!!No thank you.

Wordpress editor was working very slow and we found out the problem was with Namecheap system blocking some PHP files. We opened a ticket, 3 days later we got an email (AI written generic response) from Namecheap saying that they found the issue and are fixing it and if we have any questions, we can can contact them...We did... 5 times over the period of 20 days (because we were being ignored for that long). Talked with live customer support around 10 times, heard various promises time and time again and in the end we simply switched to another host (we didnt receive a response to this day and its been almost a month...).Do yourself a favour and skip this provider
