Namecheap has the worst customer service ever. All of their support staff are people who don't speak English as a first language and have little-to-no comprehension of what you're saying or what they need to do to solve your problem.I've been a customer for many years, and their support used to be world-class. It was the reason I chose them. You could call them and have any problem solved quickly by a competent support agent.Now they have replaced all of their support staff with people who have the comprehension skills of a malfunctioning chatbot. I regularly stop the conversation out of frustration because I can't get them to understand my issue or respond in a way that makes any sense.If you value helpful customer support and a company that hires competent support staff, don't choose Namecheap. Once you have domains and other products registered with them, it's a huge hassle to switch to someone else and then you're stuck with their horrendous customer support anytime you have an issue.

Behind the slick marketing lies a company that blatantly disregards basic ethical standards, routinely violates consumer trust, and shows an appalling lack of regard for individuals with disabilities or special needs.As someone with a legitimate medical condition requiring reasonable adjustments, I approached Namecheap expecting a baseline level of professionalism and compliance with accessibility laws. What I encountered instead was stonewalling, deflection, and outright refusal to accommodate — in direct contravention of UK equality legislation and international human rights principles.Their support staff are poorly trained, their policies opaque, and their responses robotic at best, hostile at worst. If you are neurodivergent, disabled, or require even the most minor support adjustments, do not expect compassion, understanding, or lawful behaviour. You will be ignored, dismissed, and ultimately blamed.Moreover, their business practices are deliberately deceptive. They rely on dark patterns to confuse users into overpaying for services they do not need, and once you’re locked in, good luck trying to escape. Cancellation processes are deliberately convoluted, and billing errors are met with indifference rather than accountability.This is not a company that merely “fails to deliver” — this is a company that exploits, discriminates, and obstructs. Namecheap should be investigated for its practices, sanctioned for its failures, and held publicly accountable for its blatant disregard of basic decency and the law.Avoid this company as you would a scam. They are not fit to operate.Update - Namecheap did not contact me, instead they removed the premium omain names ftom my accoynt (despite me being told that they were safe) and then put them up for auction.They then blocked access to my account to stop me retrieving them, despite me still having over twenty other domain names in my account.This activity is fraud and is illegal.Today (after more than 12 hours 0n calls a chat) the person in the phone stated ‘It is not our company policy to answer questions about your account’, and then ended the call.With regards to my other domains, Namecheap are refusing to allow me to renew them unless I pay for the domain protection (despite not wanting it). They said that I would still have to pay for it and then if I did not want it I would have to request a refund, it is completely crazy.If you do not believe me about tnis conpany, just try to find a complaints number or email - They do not have one, and customer services refuse to take complaints!
